Visitor and order data

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and purchase details. This information is used solely to fulfil your order and is shared with the following third parties for that purpose only:

  • Squarespace, our e-commerce platform: squarespace.com/privacy

  • Fineartprint, our Norwegian print production partner (for orders shipped within Norway)

  • Prodigi, our international print production and shipping partner: prodigi.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy

  • Stripe, our payment processor: stripe.com/privacy

During checkout, the site may use the Google Places API to autocomplete your address. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to complete your order.

Some of our production partners are located outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to ensure your data remains protected.

Business and licensing enquiries

If you submit an enquiry through our For Business or Licensing pages, we collect your name, email address, organisation and the details of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to do so.

Return policy

All prints are produced on demand and individually made to order. For this reason, returns and refunds are not accepted once an order has been confirmed and production has started. As prints are custom-made to your specifications, they are exempt from the EU right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive.

If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact photo@christianbue.no immediately with your order details and photographs where applicable. In such cases the print will be replaced or refunded depending on the circumstances.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact photo@christianbue.no to make a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
